Lower Eyre Peninsula zone, 1910 to 1914
The Warratta Football Association was formed in 1910 with Lipson, Tumby Bay and Moody as the founding clubs. Elected delegates were R Scott and J Sketheway – Lipson, N Keats and F Seaman – Tumby Bay and W Treasure and Morrell – Moody. Mr R Scott was appointed association secretary. WWI intervened and when peace was resumed an unofficial competition was formed based at Lipson which lead to the forming of the Eastern Eyre Peninsula association in 1925.
