Mid North zone, 1925 to 1932
With the Burra association going into recess and the Spalding association only interested in forming a local association, North and South Booborowie decided on forming their own association. Originally consisting of North, South and Central Booborowie clubs, it grew to eventually include clubs from Spalding and Hallett.
In June 1932, the West Torrens league team came to Spalding to play the combined Booborowie association. The match was organised to aid the Spalding District Hospital and was won by West Torrens, 8-12 to 3-8. North and South Booborowie amalgamated early in 1933 and were successful in applying for entry into the Burra association. The remaining Booborowie association club Spalding went into recess for twelve months.
